What is SportVis?
How SportVis works
SportVis uses STABHA™, a highly purified non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid adapted to soft tissue rather than the joint cavity. Injected around an injured tendon or ligament, it improves gliding between tissue planes, modulates local inflammation and supports repair. Each syringe holds 12 mg of hyaluronic acid in 1.2 mL of phosphate-buffered solution.
Who it is for
SportVis is designed for soft tissue injuries: first- or second-degree ankle sprain, lateral epicondylalgia (tennis elbow) and rotator cuff tendinopathy. It is for people whose pain persists despite rest, ice and anti-inflammatories, and who want to avoid a cortisone injection into the tendon.
When to avoid SportVis
- Direct injection into the body of the tendon: not allowed (rupture risk)
- Infection or skin lesion at the injection site
- Known allergy to hyaluronic acid preparations
- Complete tendon rupture: SportVis does not treat it
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: safety not established

Side effects and safety
Pain or mild swelling at the injection point within 24 to 48 hours is common and transient. Stronger reactions are rare when the peri-articular technique is followed. Pain that clearly worsens or signs of infection warrant prompt care.
After the injection
Plan for 48 hours of relative rest after each injection to limit inflammatory flares. The second injection of the course is given according to the indication: 2 to 3 days after the first for the ankle, one week for tennis elbow, 14 days for the rotator cuff.
