- Do I need a prescription to order from Pharmacli?
- Yes. Cingal, Durolane and SportVis are prescription products administered by a healthcare professional. A pharmacist verifies your prescription before confirming the order.
- How does payment work?
- You first place an order request, with no card data. A pharmacist confirms availability and eligibility, then sends you a secure payment link, usually within 1 jour ouvrable.
- Is shipping really free?
- Yes, shipping is free everywhere in Canada, included in the listed price. Products are shipped in line with the manufacturer’s storage conditions.
- Can I send my prescription after placing the order?
- Yes. Uploading it with the request is optional: you can also reply to the acknowledgement email with your prescription attached, or send it to info@pharmacli.com.
- Do prices include the injection fee?
- No. The price covers the product and shipping. The fee of the professional who administers the injection, and any ultrasound guidance, are billed separately by the clinic.
- Where is Pharmacli located?

- Can my order be reimbursed by insurance?
- Often partly, through a private group plan, on presentation of the prescription and the detailed receipt provided after payment. RAMQ generally does not cover these products in a private clinic.
Cingal
- How much does a Cingal injection cost in Canada?
- At Pharmacli, a Cingal injection costs CA$439, with free shipping across Canada included. That is the price for one 4.0 mL pre-filled syringe, which is a full course since Cingal is a single injection.
- Does Cingal contain cortisone?
- Yes. Cingal combines 88 mg of cross-linked hyaluronic acid with 18 mg of triamcinolone hexacetonide, a corticosteroid. It is the only one of the three products Pharmacli offers that contains a steroid; Durolane and SportVis do not.
- How long does Cingal last?
- The corticosteroid provides anti-inflammatory relief for about 21 days; the cross-linked hyaluronic acid maintains joint lubrication for up to 26 weeks after a single injection.
- Does Cingal require a prescription?
- Yes. Cingal is a prescription product given as an intra-articular injection by a healthcare professional. Pharmacli verifies your prescription before confirming the order.
Durolane
- How much does a Durolane injection cost in Canada?
- At Pharmacli, a Durolane injection costs CA$439, with free shipping across Canada included. The price covers one 3.0 mL pre-filled glass syringe (60 mg of hyaluronic acid), a full course.
- Does Durolane contain a steroid?
- No. Durolane is a pure hyaluronic acid formulation (sodium hyaluronate) with no corticosteroid. That is the main difference from Cingal, which combines hyaluronic acid and triamcinolone.
- How long does Durolane last in the knee?
- Durolane's half-life in the knee joint is about 32 days, thanks to NASHA® technology that stabilizes the hyaluronic acid and slows its breakdown. A single injection is given per course.
- What is NASHA® technology?
- NASHA® (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) is a patented process that stabilizes bacterially derived hyaluronic acid with very little cross-linking. The resulting gel stays in the joint longer than non-stabilized hyaluronic acid.

SportVis
- How much does SportVis cost in Canada?
- At Pharmacli, a box of SportVis costs CA$349, with free shipping across Canada included. The box contains 2 syringes of 12 mg/1.2 mL, a full course since every SportVis protocol calls for two injections.
- Why does SportVis contain two syringes?
- Every SportVis protocol uses two spaced injections: for example 2 to 3 days apart for an ankle sprain, 1 week for tennis elbow, 14 days for the rotator cuff. One box therefore covers the full treatment of one area.
- What is the difference between SportVis and Cingal or Durolane?
- SportVis is injected into the soft tissue around tendons and ligaments (peri-articular route), for injuries such as ankle sprains or tennis elbow. Cingal and Durolane are injected into the joint (intra-articular route) for knee osteoarthritis.
- Does SportVis contain cortisone?
- No. SportVis contains only STABHA™ hyaluronic acid (12 mg per syringe, 1% concentration), with no corticosteroid or anesthetic.
